Sophia Aghakhani is a current junior at Corona del Mar High School with this being her first year on Trident. While she has an array of interests, she directs her passion towards a variety of on-campus clubs, animals, reading and writing (one would hope), and her favorite subject: Biology. Her love for animals stems from her two doglets at home (Isabelle and Sugar), and it was with that love she created the Animal Wellness Contribution Club (AWC)– which dedicates their time to giving to local animal shelters. In addition to her love for service and animals, Aghakhani finds a sense of peace and relaxation with both reading and writing– which inspired her to join Trident Magazine. She is looking forward to improving her writing skills and joining the team this year!
