Have you ever wondered what is celebrated in May? There are so many underrated and even unknown holidays celebrated in the month of May. For example, receptionist day on May 12th and asthma and food allergy awareness month. Corona del Mar sophomore Isa Arrigo was asked what do you think of when you think of May, for example what holidays and awarenesses do you think of? She responded with “I think of Mother’s Day and Memorial Day.” On the other hand sophomore, Ava Manly was asked the same question and she responded with “Mothers Day, Cinco de Mayo, and I think mental health awareness month.” Below is a list of what is celebrated in May and the colors to wear that day according to PinMart:
