Even though this year’s holiday season is different than the years before, one tradition that remains the same is the variety of festive drinks that make a reappearance every winter. In order to maximize the holiday cheer, I will provide my readers my ultimate -unbiased- review of every Starbucks holiday drink so you can get your caffeine fix in the most jolly fashion!

Okay let’s be honest, the following rankings are absolutely biased and based on my taste buds; however, you can trust me! As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur I present to you the very best (and the very worst) of the Starbucks holiday drinks:
#5 Eggnog Latte: I apologize to all the Eggnog fans (sorry Grandma!) but it is not surprising that this infamous holiday drink comes at the very bottom of the list. The Eggnog Latte is quite literally hot Eggnog with a shot of Espresso; not only is this drink boring, it is definitely not worth the drive when you can just heat up Eggnog at home.
#4 Toasted White Chocolate Mocha: Before I make all the White Chocolate Mocha fans angry, hear me out on this one. Is this drink delicious? Well, if you are a fan of sugar, yes, it is absolutely amazing. However, because of its nutritional value (420 calories and 56 grams of sugar), I rather kiss this drink goodbye and eat a burger instead!
#3 Caramel Brulee Latte: As with all caramel flavored lattes, the Starbucks Caramel Brulee Latte tastes like caramel, sugar, and a hint of coffee. This overly sweet drink tastes like any other caramel flavored product from this coffee chain and to be perfectly honest, my taste buds have yet to figure out the difference between the Caramel Brulee Latte and the Regular Starbucks Caramel Latte. Nevertheless, I suggest indulging in this drink every once in a while for a sugar high.
#2 Peppermint Mocha: Any mint flavored product immediately steals my heart. It is no shock that the Peppermint Mocha has succeeded in doing the same. Is this the healthiest morning coffee pick-me-up out there? Probably not. Does it make having dessert for breakfast acceptable? Absolutely.
#1 Chestnut Praline Latte: As you may have gathered, I am not the biggest fan of sugary drinks. Which is why I recommend the Chestnut Praline Latte to those who prefer to taste some level of actual coffee in their holiday drink. The CPL has a variety of spices and it is the perfect balance between getting your coffee fix and the feeling of sitting by the fireplace in the rain. This drink is simply a hug in a cup and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside.
