On July 15, 2016, Netflix release the first season of Stranger Things. Right away it was a hit gaining five stars on Rotten Tomatoes. Later, on October 27, 2017, the second season came out. Stranger Things is a science fiction horror web television series. It is directed by the Duffer Brothers. The Duffers decided that the setting would be in the town of Hawkins, Indiana, in the 1980s. Each season was a little different. This first season was focused on an investigation of a missing boy amid supernatural events happening around the town. In the first season a girl with psychokinetic abilities appears that helps the missing boys friends find him. In season two, the story continues as the supernatural powers begin to affect the town once again. Many new characters are introduced and a bunch of crazy events took place.

On March 20, 2019, the trailer for season three Stranger Things came out. The actual season is release on July 4, 2019 and it just might be a coincidence. The new season will come out with a new monster and new dangerous events. Just like how season 2 had a time change, season 3 will also have one. The kids will be all grown up a little bit more then they were in season 2. Stranger Things 3 will be taking place in the summer (around and on the fourth of July) rather than in the winter like Season 2 of Stranger Things. According to Gamerradar, “you kind of get to see a different version of everyone”. All of the original cast plan on participating in season 3 and a couple of new members will be joining. Finally, not only is the netflix season coming out in July, on June 4th there will be a book released called Stranger Things. It is about when Eleven(Millie Bobby Brown) has unanswered questions, Hopper is forced to reckon with some long-buried secrets. It may even give some hints to the season that will be released a month later. It is a season that is one not to miss.
